Designs for apparel, first generic non-licensed nod at a video game franchise, second Marvel Mario mashup! And third a faux beer-style shirt for an online video game.

For many years designing My Little Pony shirts for a very interesting demographic dominated my days. Pop culture mash ups, album cover parodies, classic art references, Hasbro was one of the most open and fun to work with licensors so far in my career. From 2011-2013 I was in charge of My Little Pony apparel and accessories at Mighty Fine/Welovefine.com

Snappy verbiage on a shirt with a licensed character to match! Throughout the years I have had to redraw characters using screen grabs from the series as reference to get bespoke poses to create unique products that stood out amongst a sea of style guide artwork. I was very grateful for the opportunity to draw many different characters in a multitude of styles.

Cheeky verbiage and logo parody designs at one point dominated fast fashion for online stores. Most of these mashups were not officially approved by the IP holders, but thankfully many licensors were willing to toe the line and let officially licensed apparel producers compete with fan artists and bootleg websites.

A subtle trend in licensed product verbiage apparel leveraged "in-universe" concepts. For people who enjoy a franchise, but want to be a bit on the down-low about it. Stark Industries gear usually printed as a small chest pocket, or as the larger graphic on the back of the tee in the case of Sofa & Quills from My Little Pony.
