Bee and Puppycat was a huge seller for Mighty Fine's direct-to-consumer retail website. But with sporadic episode drops and delays in the release of the show, many items were shelved as the consumer lost interest with the lack of daily content being released.
While designing some more mass appeal Marvel denim/jersey hoodies, I mocked these two up as a joke. I still want them to exist though.... Embroidered details with printed back panel, however metal buttons would work for both.
Always a fan of obscure things that don't have enough fans to generate merchandise for, I decided to design this collection for fun and put it online to see if it would cause a stir. DID YOU SEE VENOM??? The internet was on fire for the campy hit that no one involved in making the film expected to be a hit. After seeing mountains of fanart generated for the Marvel movie I decided to watch the film. It was silly, stupid and fun! If it had the mix of animated and practical effects of The Mask and the cinematography of Ernest Goes to Jail it would be a perfect™ movie. I was instantly hungry for some elevated Venom lifestyle gear. I want all the trends, iridescents, neon pink applied to tote bags, keychain coin purses, storage jars, and a makeup bag plz!
