The Team Fortress 2 Pyroland repeat pattern was used for leggings and a few different dresses. I'm always delighted when I spot people wearing it in the wild. And the purple multi Puppycat pattern was used for a lightweight scarf. I rarely spot that one, but I haven't been to any conventions lately.

Sublimated leggings with licensed characters filled my design days for many years. For every finished and printed patterned legging there are about five variations; as the designers and merchandisers work together to ensure the finished product has mass appeal.

Subtle repeat pattern prints on lightweight fabrics and dress shirts for Valve's Portal and Cartoon Network's Steven Universe were a subtle way to play with iconic imagery from the respective video game and cartoon series. In the most recent years I've noticed licensed patterns stayed very simple, before the floral trend came back around.

And then florals came back! Digging through archives of hand-rendered florals I had drawn years earlier, this fun pattern features Gwenpool of Marvel Comics. A whimsical slapstick character blending Deadpool with Gwen Stacy. I had done this for my own enjoyment with a list of other Marvel characters to design more subtle floral prints for; alas, there are only so many hours in the day for personal art!
